Immune Support Tea
Cold and flu season is in full swing here. There are many things you can do to help boost your immune system so you can stay healthy and happy through the fall and winter seasons. Decreasing sugar, regular exercise, and meditation all help build your immune system. This tea is another wonderful way to calm inflammation when you feel an acute illness arising.
Use this tea at the first sign of sickness. Ginger and garlic are great and are antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory. The lemon provides vitamin C and antioxidants. The unrefined sea salt supports your electrolyte balance. The honey, especially raw and local, will help sooth your throat and also antimicrobial. When you feel sickness coming on, make up a jar of this tea and sip throughout the day.
Enjoy!
